September 29, 2025 - IRAN. A woman, Jeyran Zaheri, and Mohammadreza Mohammadi-Berenjgani executed in Isfahan on September 29
According to information received by Hengaw, at dawn on September 29, Jeyran Zaheri and Mohammadreza Mohammadi-Berenjgani, 29, from Isfahan, were executed in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd). Zaheri had been arrested nine years earlier on charges of murdering her husband, while Mohammadi-Berenjgani had been arrested seven years ago on murder charges.
These executions remain unacknowledged by Iranian state media.
