December 28, 2025 - IRAN. 8 men executed on December 28

Ali Safar Sepahvand, Mostafa Mehrjoo, Moein Hassanzadeh, Jamshid Akbari, Jafar Najafi, Mousa Rahimi-Rad, Azizali Kolkhani + 1

Information received by Hengaw and Hrana indicates that the following persons were executed in the early hours of December 28, 2025.

-Ali Safar Sepahvand, a Lor man from Borujerd, was executed in the prison of Borujerd on a murder charge.
-Mostafa Mehrjoo, a Turkish resident of Ardabil, was executed in the prison of Ardabil on a murder charge.  
-Moein Hassanzadeh (Moein Hassan-Zadeh), a Turkish resident of Tabriz, was executed in the prison of Tabriz on a murder charge.  
-Jamshid Akbari, a resident of Qom, was executed in the prisons of Qom on a murder charge.
-Jafar Najafi, was executed in the prison of Arak on drugs charges
-Mousa Rahimi-Rad was executed in the prison of Semnan on drugs charges
-Azizali Kolkhani (Aziz Ali Kolkhani) was executed in the prison of Qazvin on drugs charges
-An unidentified man, on charges of murder, in Tabriz Prison.

State media have not reported the executions.
