December 31, 2025 - IRAN. 4 men executed on December 31

Ahad Mirzaei, Hanif Mohammadi, Yasin Azimi, Abbas Gholipour

According to information received by Hengaw and IHR, during the early hours of December 31, 2025 the following 4 death sentences were carried out:

-Ahad Mirzaei, convicted on charges related to drug-related crimes, was executed at Esfarayen detention facility.
-Hanif Mohammadi, a Gilak man from Nowshahr, convicted of murder, was executed at Nowshahr detention facility.
-Yasin Azimi, a 30-year-old man from Khomeinishahr in Isfahan province, convicted of murder, was executed at Isfahan (Dastgerd) Central Prison.
-Abbas Gholipour, a 26-year-old man from Isfahan, convicted of murder, was executed at Isfahan (Dastgerd) Central Prison.

Reports indicate that Azimi and Gholipour were denied a final family visit prior to their executions.

These executions have not been announced by state media.
