February 26, 2026 - IRAN. 4 men executed in the past days

Hassan Khalili, Naqi Feyzi, Behnam Jahani, Mostafa Bahari

The death sentences of 5 prisoners have been carried out in various prisons.

According to information received by Hengaw,
- Hassan Khalili was executed at dawn on February 25, 2026, in Gorgan Central Prison. He had been arrested approximately two years ago on drug-related charges.
In Rasht Central Prison (Lakan), two Gilak prisoners —
- Naqi Feyzi, 49, a father of three from Rasht, and
- Behnam Jahani, 27, from Lahijan — were executed at dawn on February 24, 2026. Feyzi had been on death row for around six years following a murder conviction, while Jahani had been sentenced to death approximately two years ago after being convicted of murder in connection with a physical altercation.
- Mostafa Bahari, 39, a Lor man from Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, father of one child, was executed at dawn on February 7, 2026, in Yasuj Central Prison. Bahari had been on death row for about two years on murder charges.

State media have not announced these executions.
