INDIAN EMBASSY IN RIYADH DENIES DEATH PENALTY REPORTS

14 June 2010 :

the Indian Embassy in Riyadh denied reports that Sabir Ansari, an Indian national, had been sentenced to death for killing a compatriot in Saudi Arabia. Reports said Ansari was sentenced to death on June 11 for killing Mohammed Sharik on June 7, and the execution was scheduled for June 18.
