INDIA SERVANT GETS DEATH SENTENCE FOR MURDER

12 April 2007 :

a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in India awarded the death penalty to Ajay Kumar Pal, a domestic aide of Jharkhand Industry director Dhirendra Kumar, for killing Pal's wife Amita Sinha, their son and three other minor children three years ago. Special CBI Judge Noman Ali heard that Pal committed the multiple murders in a rage after being scolded by Kumar's wife for not discharging his duties properly. He laced the family's supper with poison and then battered them to death with an iron rod and burnt their bodies.
