13 June 2007 :

a 28 year old man was sentenced to death in India by Additional District Sessions Judge Sukumar Sahu of the Orissa court for killing his 50 year old mother. Trinath Dadhia, a resident of Balimela village in Malkagiri district, killed Gura Dadhia on Nov 19, 2004, after she refused to go to her office and bring her salary home. Trinath, who desperately wanted the money, killed her in a fit of rage.
