Four drug traffickers were executed by firing squad in Vietnam as part of the communist nation's zero tolerance approach to illegal narcotics.Nguyen Minh Tong, 38, Vo Minh Tam, 32, Luu Kien Quang, 47, and Tran Van Phuoc, 44, were put to death at dawn at the Giong Soi execution ground in the southern province of Long An.
They had been sentenced to death in 2002 after being convicted of trafficking 35 kilos of heroin between September 2000 and November 2001 from Cambodia to Ho Chi Minh City.
