in Chapainawabganj, Bangladesh, Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal judge Arup Kumar Goswami sentenced Akhtarul Islam Tanu, of Macchmari village of Shibganj municipality area, death for killing Tokiara Khatun on February 16, 1998. He allegedly threw acid on her when she refused a relationship.
