under a new law, the proposed Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) court will have the power to issue death sentences for mutiny. The death sentence can then be appealed to the BGB special court. Two of the three members of the court will be required to reach a consensus for the death sentence to be approved.(Sources: New Nation, 27/01/2010)
