19 September 2012 :
an unemployed man was sent to the gallows by the Johor Baharu High Court, Malaysia, after he was found guilty of murdering his father-in-law using a Rambo knife two years ago. Judicial Commissioner Samsudin Hassan handed down the sentence to Mohd Azuwa Talib, 25, after finding that the defence had failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt the prosecution's case. Mohd Azuwa, who has a three-year-old son, was found to have murdered Armen Suardi, 55, a retail trader, between 2.30pm on Nov 8, 2010 and 5.20am the following day. In his judgement, Samsudin said two stabs on the victim's body and another on the head, proved that Mohd Azuwa committed the crime on purpose.(Sources: Bernama, 30/08/2012)
