According to the state run Iranian news agency Fars, five prisoners were hanged in the Adelabad prison of Shiraz. The prisoners who were not identified by name were convicted of possession and “armed” trafficking of 59 kilograms of opium, said the report.(Sources: Iran Human Rights, 14/01/2014)
