According to the official Iranian news agency IRNA three prisoners were hanged in the prison of Arak (Central Iran). The prisoners were identified as "A.B." (31) convicted of buying and possession of 1370 grams of Shisheh, "M. S." (26) convicted of possession of 1500 grams of heroin, and "A. F." (47) convicted of possession of 1382 grams of opium, 450 grams of shisheh and 390 grams of heroin, said the report.
