According to the official Iranian media a man was hanged in the public early this morning in Kerman (southeastern Iran).
According to the state run Iranian news agency Fars the man was identified as "Yaser K." (age not mentioned) and convicted of rape. The execution was carried out at the Khajou Square of Kerman.
