a High Court sitting in Argungu, Kebbi State, Nigeria, has sentenced a woman to death for killing her neighbor's son. Amina Sahabi, aged 35, was found guilty of beating a four-year-old boy, Abdulwahab, to death on September 9, 2009 in Tungar Zazzagawa village, Argungu local government area. This happened after a fight broke out between the victim and Sahabi's two-year-old daughter. The woman was sent to Kware Mental Hospital in Sokoto for psychiatric evaluation, but she was found mentally fit and sent back to prison.
