01 April 2009 :
a court of Sana'a city, Yemen, sentenced Salem Mubarak al-Saydi to death for killing a judge of Sayown court in Hadarmout governorate. After delivering the sentence, al-Saydi requested to appeal the verdict. The public prosecution accused al-Saydi of killing the judge Mohammed al-Shoaibi last November.(Sources: SABA, 02/12/2008)
