According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Qom Central Prison on 21 February 2026. His identity has been established as 30-year-old Mehrdad Ghaeni from Malard. He was arrested less than two years ago on drug-related charges.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
