On October 18, 2025, Farshad Sanaei, aged 43, a Lor prisoner from Dorud, Lorestan Province, was executed in Khorramabad Central Prison. He had been arrested five years ago on murder charges related to a financial dispute. Hengaw had previously reported another execution on the same day in the same prison, that of Kamran Amini.
Iranian state media have not reported the execution.
