At dawn on October 14, 2025, Shafi Farati, 28, from Yazd, was executed in Semnan Central Prison. He had been arrested five years earlier for murdering a man who had reportedly harassed his sister at Semnan University after proposing to her.
The execution of this prisoner has not been reported by state-controlled media.
