Ebrahim Azizi and an Afghan national whose identity has not yet been confirmed were executed at dawn in Bojnurd Prison, North Khorasan Province, on October 7. According to informed sources, both men had been arrested in a joint case on drug-related charges.
State media have not yet reported the executions.
