According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, two men were hanged in Hamedan Central Prison on 14 September 2025. Their identities have been established as Peyman Ajami from Hamedan and 30-year-old Maziar Karami (photo) from Arak who was engaged and worked in his father’s blacksmith workshop.
Peyman was arrested four years ago and Maziar, three years ago. Both were sentenced on drug-related charges.
At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
