The death sentence of Ismail Hajivand, a 44-year-old Lor prisoner from Malayer, was carried out at Malayer Central Prison in Hamadan Province. According to reports received by Hengaw, Hajivand was executed at dawn on July 28, 2025.
Hajivand had been imprisoned for nine years following his arrest on charges of murder. The state media have not announced the execution.
