IRAN - Molan Abdolaziz Khani and Vahab Heidari executed in Qazvin on July 16
July 16, 2025: July 16, 2025 - IRAN. Molan Abdolaziz Khani (Abdolazizkhani) and Vahab Heidari (Heydari) executed in Qazvin on July 16.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, two men were hanged in Qazvin (Choobindar) Central Prison on 16 July 2025. Their identities have been established as 31-year-old Molan Abdolaziz Khani (right photo) from Afghanistan and 29-year-old Vahab Heidari (left photo), a Lor man from Khorramabad. They were both sentenced to death on drug-related charges in separate cases.
A source told IHR: “Molan came to Iran aged five and worked in a fruit and vegetable stall in Seyed Khandan bazaar prior to his arrest two years ago. Vahab was arrested three years ago."
At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
