July 2, 2025: July 2, 2025 - IRAN. Jabar Pourmohammadi Maghani executed in Zanjan on July 2.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Zanjan Central Prison on 2 July 2025. His identity has been established as 40-year-old Jabar Pourmohammadi Maghani. He was arrested three years ago and sentenced to death on drug-related charges.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
