According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Urmia (Darya) Central Prison on 3 June 2025. His identity has been established as Naser Nabizadeh, a 41-year-old Kurdish man from the village of Gajin in Urmia. He was arrested around five ago on drug-related charges.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
