IRAN - Reza Gholamhosseini and Farokh Khan Mohammadi executed in Ilam on May 14
May 14, 2024: May 14, 2024 - IRAN. Reza Gholamhosseini and Farokh Khan Mohammadi executed in Ilam on May 14.
According to information obtained by IHR, two Kurdish men executed in Ilam Central Prison on 14 May. Their identities have been established as Reza Gholamhosseini (left photo) and Farokh Khan Mohammadi (right photo) who were sentenced to qisas for murder.
An informed source told IHRNGO: “Reza Gholamhosseini was 21, from the village of Ban Ziarat and was sentenced last year. Farokh Khan Mohammadi was 60, from Ilam and had been on death row for murder for 14 years.”
At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
