The death sentence of a Kurdish citizen from Sarvabad who was sentenced to death on charges premeditated murder has been carried out in Sanandaj Central Prison. According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on the morning of Wednesday, December 30, 2020, the death sentence of a 28-year-old prisoner named "Mustafa Seifi" from the village of Viznan in Sarvabad was carried out in Sanandaj Central Prison. He was transferred to solitary confinement on Sunday. Ata Seifi, Mustafa's father, confirmed the news by a phone call with Hengaw and announced that victim’s family members were not ready to acquiesce his son and that they had asked for three billion tomans ($120000), but the Seifi’s family was not able to provide this amount of money. In early September 2020, the prisoner was transferred to solitary confinement to serve his death sentence, but his sentence was postponed for three months in exchange for three billion tomans. Mustafa Seifi killed one of his relatives, identified as "Kosar Seifi", on April 4, 2015, on pretext of “honour”, and was later sentenced to death.
