KENYA: MAN TO DIE FOR KILLING RELATIVE OVER FEES
October 18, 2010: in Nairobi, Kenya, Samuel Kamonjo and his son-in-law Benjamin Karanja were sentenced to death by the Court of Appeal for killing their relative John Gitu on February 3, 2005, at Kayole Estate. The murder occurred when Kamonjo was confronted by the family over his failure to pay his children's school fees.
