The official Saudi Press Agency said Tawfik Tijani was put to death in Jeddah after being convicted of smuggling cocaine into the country.The Uganda Prisons Service has confirmed that the country currently has 93 inmates on death row, while reiterating that no executions have been carried out since 1999, Nile Post reported on June 11, 2026.
