DRC. MILITARY COURT CONVICTS TWO OFFICERS OVER KILLINGS
March 20, 2006: the military court of the Kalemie garrison in Katanga, south DRC, sentenced Capt. Yalala Musubao to death for voluntarily killing eight Mayi Mayi officers of the 8th Brigade. Â
Co-defendant Capt. Mputu Maile was sentenced to a 30-year jail term for disobedience, violation of military secrets, wastage of ammunition and arbitrary arrest. The court acquitted a third man, Lt.
