TURKEY. PROTOCOL NO. 6 TO THE EUROPEAN CONVENTION ON HUMAN RIGHTS APPROVED

10 October 2005 :

Turkey’s Parliament passed the Protocol No. 13 to the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, concerning the abolition of the death penalty in all circumstances. A total of 220 deputies cast votes in favor of the bill, with one voting against.
