the Supreme Court in Nigeria confirmed the death penalty of Adegboye Ibikunle, an old police officer. Ibikunle was sentenced to death by the High Court in the state of Delta, in May 2001, for the murder of Edeha, in May 2000.(Sources: Daily Trust, Amnesty International)
