October 30, 2023 - Hamid Takavar executed in Karaj on October 30.
According to information by IHR, a man was executed in Karaj Penitentiary on 30 October. His identity has been established as 31-year-old Hamid Takavar, who was sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by media in Iran.
