According to PMOI/MEK, on July 7, 2020, the Coronavirus death toll in 342 cities across Iran has increased to 66,900. The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on July 7 that the number of victims in various provinces include: 16,900 in Tehran, 5,110 in Khuzestan, 4,780 in Razavi Khorasan, 2,995 in Mazandaran, 2,130 in Sistan & Baluchistan, 1,905 in West Azerbaijan, 1,680 in Golestan, 1,405 in Fars, 710 Hormozgan, and 345 in Kohgiluyeh & Boyer Ahmed. This is in addition to reports obtained from other provinces. The official death count declared by the regime stands at 11,931, around a sixth of the actual figure. The death toll is skyrocketing and the spokesperson of the regime’s Health Ministry on Tuesday announced that even the regime’s engineered statistics show that 200 people died of the novel coronavirus during the past 24-hour period. This indicates a 26 percent increase in comparison to the regime’s own stats back in March and April. A total of 3,270 individuals are in intensive care, she added. “The provinces of Khuzestan, Hormozgan, Bushehr, Kermanshah, Kurdistan, Ilam, East and West Azerbaijans, and Razavi Khorasan are in code red conditions. The provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Mazandaran, Golestan, Alborz, Kerman, Yazd, Hamedan, and Sistan & Baluchistan, Hamedan, Zanjan and Ardabil are in alarming conditions” the Health Ministry spokesperson continued, according to the regime’s official IRNA news agency.
