Additional sessions court judge Pradeep Bharad awarded the death sentence to Viren Rajput, who was 22 when he committed the crime.
On October 17, 2012, Rajput spotted the girl walking back from her school in Pali to her village on an isolated road. He jumped her and then forced himself on her.
