PAKISTAN. TWO CONVICTED TERRORISTS HANGED IN MULTAN JAIL
March 28, 2007: two convicted terrorists, Abdul Jabbar and Shahsawar, were hanged in Multan's New Central Jail, Pakistan, in the presence of a local magistrate, a medical officer and jail staff.
Jail superintendent Malik Mubashir Hassan said âWe have executed two activists of a banned sectarian outfit, who were involved in the murder of a constable. Their bodies have been handed over to their relatives.â
The Anti Terrorism Court in Bahawalpur headed by Mukhtar Ali Siyal issued the death sentences on July 25,1997.
