VIETNAM. PRESIDENT WANTS ABOLITION OF DEATH PENALTY

05 June 2008 :

Vietnam's head of state, Nguyen Minh Triet, explained his personal efforts to reduce the application of the death penalty and gradually introduce its abolition.
Nguyen said this to Nationalrat President Barbara Prammer during his official visit to Austria.
