Summit County Common Pleas Judge Elinore Stormer sentenced Ashford Thompson to death, following the June 11 (see) jury’s recommendation. Thompson, 26, black, admitted the July 13, 2008 killing of police officer Josh Miktarian.(source: Plain Dealer, Canton Repository, 23/06/2010)
