Washoe District Judge Robert Perry sentenced James Biela to death and to 4 consecutive life prison terms. Judge Perry followed a June 2 (see) jury sentence. Biela, 28, white, was sentenced to death for the January 20, 2008 rape and murder of 19-year-old Brianna Denison, and to life on the kidnapping and 2 counts of sexual assault on other women.(source: Reno Gazette-Journal, 30/07/2010)
