State District Judge Wilson Fields formally sentenced Dacarius Holliday to die. Holliday was formally sentenced to death today for fatally beating in 2007. An East Baton Rouge Parish jury convicted the 33-year-old Holliday, of 1st-degree murder on March 14. 3 days later, the same jurors recommended that Holliday die by lethal injection for the killing of his girlfriend's 2-year-old son Darian Coon on May 14, 2007.(source: The Advocate, Associated Press, 07/07/2010)
