26 October 2010 :
Circuit Judge L. Ralph Smith sentenced Miguel Oyola to death. Oyola, 40, white, is convicted in the December 2007 stabbing death of 35 year old Michael Lee Gerrard during a robbery. Back on September 3rd, a Jefferson County jury voted 9 to 3 to recommend Oyola get the death penalty.(source: Tallahassee Democrat, 25/10/2010)
