Broward Circuit Judge Jeffrey Levenson sentenced Ralston "Jay" Davis to death and to two life sentences. A Broward County jury in July recommended 8-4 that Davis, 25, black be executed for killing Myosha Proby, 28, on Dec. 2, 2005. The same jury recommended life in prison without the possibility of parole for the killings of Ravindra Basdeo, 29, and Carlos Jones, 26, at a gas station.(source: Associated Press, Sun Sentinel, 07/01/2010)
