Judge Charles Arnold followed the jury's recommendation and sentenced Kevin Jerome Scott, 24, black, to death. In June 2007, he gunned down Kristo Binjaku, 45, white, an Albanian immigrant, during a botched robbery at a Laundromat. In April, he was convicted.
