A Duval County jury has recommended the death penalty for Justin McMillian. McMillian, 26, black, was found guilty last week of 1st-degree murder in the shooting death of his ex-girlfriend Danielle Stubbs, 26, black, in January 2009. He admitted shooting, but said he did not intend to kill the girl.
