Judge Vernon Nakahara sentenced Christopher Evans to death. On Nov. 23, 2009 (see) an Alameda County jury recommended the death penalty for Evans, 36, who was convicted on July 16, 2009 of 1 count of 1st-degree murder for the death of Tina Marie Rose, 28, and 1 count of 2nd-degree murder for the death of Tommy Lee Brown, 41, in a shooting on April 27, 2001.(source: Associated Press, 23/04/2010)
