Orange County Superior Court Judge Frank F. Fasel imposed the death sentence on Tanya Nelson. Tanya Nelson, who also uses the name Phuong Thao Nguyen, 45, was sentenced for the April 23, 2005 killing of Ha "Jade" Smith, 52, and Anita Vo, 23.
