Norwalk Superior Court Judge Dewey Falcone formally sentenced Anthony Deondrea Cain, 34, black, to death. Anthony Deondrea Cain was convicted in October on all counts for the February 2004 murders of his elderly cousins, Lamar and Ernestine Matthews, both 75, blacks, in order to rob them. A jury sentenced him to death on Nov. 12. He has been in custody since his arrest in March 2004.(Sources: Long Beach Press-Telegram, KABC, 15/01/2010)
