20 April 2010 :
A Saline County jury sentenced Jason Lee Taylor, 25, white, to death in the October 15, 2008 slaying of Derrick Utsey, 28, black. Judge Gary Arnold followed the recommendation of the jury and sentenced Taylor to die by lethal injection.(sources: bentoncourier.com, 26/06/2009)
