The Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals told a Jefferson County judge to take another look at claims by Kenneth Eugene Smith that there were problems with his trial. Smith, 45, white, was convicted in 1990 of the murder-for-hire slaying of Elizabeth Sennett, in March 1988.(source: Associated Press, 17/12/2010)
