An Etowah County jury unanimously recommended the death sentence for Ronnie Lynn Kirksey, black, after convicting him of murdering his girlfriend's son, 23-month-old Cornell Norwood on Apr. 15, 2006. Etowah County Circuit Judge David Kimberley has set sentencing for April 30.(source: Associated Press, 22/02/2010)
